The Musica Viva: Florence Festival is thrilled to announce its International Mini-Conference:
"Music in the Galant Style and Beyond – A Modern Renaissance"

We invite performers, scholars, educators, and interdisciplinary researchers to submit proposals for papers, lecture-recitals, panels, and workshops exploring:
- Galant phrase structures, ornamentation, and rhetoric
- Partimento, improvisation, and historical pedagogy
- Modern resonances of 18th-century aesthetics
- Cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary dialogues
- Technology, experimentation, and historical reinvention
This conference celebrates the artistry, creativity, and intellectual richness of Galant music, while embracing its modern reinterpretations.
